Do you have an entrepreneurial mindset and an interest in delivering new products to the insurance industry? The ideal candidate for our Personal Insurance Account Manager position will possess consultative selling skills as well as having a deep understanding of personal auto insurance class plans and insurance company rate making dynamics. This position reports to the National Sales Director in the CARFAX Banking & Insurance Group. Compensation is base salary plus commissions and bonuses.
What you'll be doing:
Present profit improvement data solutions to existing P&C clients
Maintain client engagement through regular communication
Conduct annual review sessions with clients
Monitor and expand client data usage to align with their needs
Compile & communicate market intelligence information
Onboard new customers and provide support for their success
Document daily activities in our CRM software (Salesforce)
Work with our marketing team to support sales initiatives
Work from home while traveling 20%-25% of the time is expected for:
Building and maintaining rapport with existing customers
Attending industry trade shows and conferences
Participation in quarterly on-site internal meetings in our Virginia HQ
What we're looking for:
Minimum of 5 years multi-disciplinary insurance company experience, ideally as a production-oriented underwriter or product manager
Proven sales acumen with formal sales training
Track record managing and growing key clients
Experience presenting personal auto profit improvement solutions
Basic understanding of actuarial principles and lift charts
Quick learner with a strong work ethic, independent and self-motivated
Excellent written and oral communication skills
College degree and/or insurance credentials (CIC or CPCU) is preferred
