The Highlights

The Strategic Account Manager for Hospitality is responsible for dedicated account management of an assigned module for market clients. This field-based position will focus on the protection and growth of existing revenues through proactive management of clients relationships.

What you will do

  • Serve as client advocate within their fast-growing business

  • Develop client-centric solutions highlighting product benefits

  • Facilitate face-to-face meetings to pursue renewal opportunities

  • Deliver proposals to promote new revenue

  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales and revenue quotas

  • Maintain client database

  • Establish data control procedures and work with regulatory agencies as needed

  • Collaborate with others to resolve issues and enhance the client experience

  • Attend training to remain current on pricing, order entry and commission reports

  • Assist with account collections when necessary

  • Carry out other duties as needed

Required keys for success

  • Five or more years of experience with strategic sales or account management

  • Proven sales record, meeting monthly quotas

  • Skilled in quickly conducting cost analysis and providing recommendations

  • Aptitude for identifying and cultivating market opportunities

  • Collaborative team member, able to multitask and manage change

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, ICOMS/CSG or other billing systems

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Visio

  • Effective communication skills

How you will stand out from the crowd

  • Five or more years of industry experience with advanced voice and data networking

  • Positive attitude with strong presentation skills

  • Experience in data, voice, cloud or video solutions or premises based sales

  • Confidence in communicating technical information to high-level clients

  • Deadline-driven in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Motivated by commission-based model

  • Coachable with entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently

  • Familiarity with product suite

Your education

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in business-related field (preferred)

  • Frequent travel (30 percent) in personal vehicle

The Highlights The Strategic Account Representative is a telephone-based sales position. In this role, you will be responsible for outbound sales and acquisition of new government, education, healthcare, hospitality and strategic major clients with greater than 500 employees. You will focus on showing prospective clients how our innovative business solutions will help satisfy their growing complex technology and communications needs.
