Cisco is looking to identify an Account Manager with talent, drive and ambition to sell Cisco solutions and own relationships in support of Cisco's global relationship with Apple. In this Account Manager position, you will leverage your assets to solve our Web Service Provider customers' critical challenges.
Web-based customers, in particular, are a strategic and growth sector for Cisco driving innovation and new ways of doing business across Cisco's Service Provider and Enterprise customer base. This Account Manager role is a selling position centered on relationship-management and strategic selling, focusing on accounts in the Web Operation organization. The goal of this role is to drive sales by establishing trusted, advisory relationships with various customer executives. This role focuses on understanding the customer's strategy, their needs and their business requirements in order to recommend the appropriate solution and to close complex, transformational deals. This role also focuses on achieving revenue goals; forecasting accurately on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedule; developing a pipeline of opportunities; creating account plans; and closing deals. Approximately 80% of this salesperson's time is customer facing.

Who You Are
You are a creative and self-motivated Account Manager. You're well-versed in developing and executing a strategy to drive incremental business through direct customer contact, partner engagement, engineering engagements. You have comfort leading VP relationships and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to solve business challenges. You are able to think outside of the box to help our customer meet their needs.
Role & Responsibilities include:
Dedicated and Strategic engagement with customer executives, decision makers and influencers to sustain and build deep relationships to become a trusted adviser.
Demonstrate strong technical and business knowledge with complementary skills to understand customer business requirements and align to Cisco solutions to close strategic and complex opportunities.
Engage resources including Cisco Business Units to drive necessary development and prioritize account team and customer needs.
Demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy.
Should be able to work in a cross-matrix management organization with the ability to offer direct and indirect influence.
Ability to position end to end solutions and articulate complex technical vision to mid-level and senior customer executives is needed.
Will have bold, self-starter qualities to articulate Cisco's product and business strategies, as well as create demand for Cisco solutions.
Must be able to adjust the value proposition to the different levels of the customer organization
BA/BS or equivalent experience required
10+ years successful sales experience
Strong understanding and experience with Enterprise, Datacenter products & environments
Extraordinary communications skills
Demonstrated success with selling to C-level management teams
Demonstrated experience handling a large customer
Must have the ability to deliver business value to the account and build on strong customer relationships
