JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team. We understand the diverse talent of our employees is a driving force behind our success. The prime function of the Strategic Account Manager is to develop and maximize market share in the industrial, construction and commercial facility sectors for the assigned territory of Arkansas, Northern Mississippi and Memphis, Tennessee.

The team is designed to meet the unique needs of specialty contractors and certain markets such as: HVAC, Industrial Manufacturing, Food Processing, Coatings, Petro-Chemical, Oil & Gas, Shipyards & Military, Commercial & Public Facilities, Construction Drying, as well as Large Special Events & Film Productions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop assigned territory via personal prospecting, cold-calling, qualifying leads, following up on referrals

  • Setting up appointments and making sales presentations to maximize sales potential and Sunbelt's reputation as a solution provider.

  • Provide sales support, motivation, coordinate and work with sales representatives, Key & National Account Managers in Sunbelt's Specialty & General Tool Businesses

  • Perform other duties assigned as assigned by the manager.

Additional Requirements:

  • Professional level knowledge of principles and practices involved in project management, engineered selling, new business development, product marketing and sales, including experience developing territory business plans.

  • Ability to incorporate Sunbelt's Specialty Businesses (Industrial Services, Scaffolding, Pump and Power, Climate Control, etc.) into presentations and business solutions.

  • High energy, entrepreneurialspirited self-starter.

  • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills. Territory management practices must be exceptional.

  • Experience selling to all levels of management.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years successful sales and/or project management experience in one of the following: Commercial HVAC equipment; Mechanical estimating, design & install; Industrial Coatings applications; industrial; manufacturing; power generation or maintenance

  • Previous rental industry experience a definite plus.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering or related field is preferred, but not required. While training is available, preferably have knowledge of using Psychometric Charts and/or calculating HVAC loads

POSITION PURPOSE: Provide leadership, coordination and technical direction for the Conway Fem-Care Pads Department in order to effectively manage business objectives (safety, quality, productivity, cost, and resources) . This position is responsible to understand and enforce the applicable site EHS procedures and requirements for their area. KEY CUSTOMERS: Mill Management, Operations Manager/ Product System Leader, Operating Team Associates, Maintenance, Fem-Care Sector / Staff, Engineering, and other functional team members, end users. CUSTOMER EXPECTATIONS: * Safely produce quality products and services. * Effective leadership of converting teams. * Build talent of teams. * Proper representation of operating units in staff coordinated activities. * Collaborative support in Product System and site management. * Assets (materials, costs, procedures, inventories, equipment, and personnel) properly managed, maintained, and developed. * Positive work environment maintained to promote safety, housekeeping, employee relations, and continuous improvement. SCOPE: The incumbents will report to the Conway Operations Manager/ Product System Leader. The incumbent provides leadership in achieving team objectives. This person develops business plans with up to a one-year planning horizon. Objectives typically are focused at the Asset level, but some are Product System and Mill-wide in nature. Accountabilities will include the following: * Developing and maintain a safe operating environment (i.e. EHS management) * Enforce quality requirements and centerline systems * Manage Cost of Manufacture (i.e. operating supplies, maintenance, labor, gap closure savings, etc.) * Providing day-to-day direction to the Fem-Care Pads Team and other duties as needed * Development of team objectives * Development and management of Continuous Improvement / Tactical Implementation Plan and Daily Accountability Process using LEAN and OPEX thinking / tools * Providing constructive coaching to hourly team members * Collaborating with staff Planning on the production schedule and re-sieves * Deliver customer service * Communicate efficiently and effectively with mill leadership * Support mill initiatives on Safety, Quality, Reliability, S&O capability, and Culture of Accountability. * Ability to manage vendor/supplier relationships in a positive cost effective manner. * Ability to lead the development of Asset objectives and goals and action plans to achieve them. * Ability to lead organizational change, builds relationships, and make good use of available resources. * Ability to confront problems and handle conflict. * Ability to problem solve and set priorities, generating new ideas and improved ways of working while maintaining effective control. * Demonstrated capability associated with the One KC Behaviors. Preferred Qualifications: * 5+ years' experience in a high-speed industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
