Strategic Account Manager

The National Account Manager is responsible for managing strategic customer accounts at a national level, in order to maximize the company's opportunity to acquire specialty gas and recovery service to exceed overall business goals.

Primary Place of Work
A-Gas plant in Rhome, TX or home office. Travel to other A-Gas facilities, customers, or other sites as required. This position may require greater than 50% travel.
Meets or exceeds the monthly goal of inbound gas acquisition and service revenue through the development and growth of current customer base, along with obtaining new business through a Total Solutions approach.
Continuously networks within the national account to develop and grow relationships with current customer base along with obtaining new business.
Represents company at trade association meetings to promote products.
Takes a proactive approach to account management and meets with strategic accounts key clients and new business opportunities to develop and maintain relationships and negotiate contracts.
Monitors and evaluates the activities and associated product pricing of the competition in the industry in line with company guidelines.
Any other assigned tasks as reasonably required.
Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications
Bachelor degree required with sales experience, or 5+ years of sales experience in lieu of degree.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong analytical skills
Past experience in specialty chemical industry
Past experience in refrigerant reclamation
