About the Position:
The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for growing our footprint and the value we bring to our highest potential customers. This position includes both new business generation as well as customer retention. The SAE will direct and execute upon strategic account plans for current customers in collaboration with a dedicated account team. A successful candidate will be able to expand new business within a focused group of accounts and grow/retain the book of business.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering against a new business quota within our highest-potential customers
- Growing and retaining customers within their customer base
- Developing strategic account plans in collaboration with the account team
- Build groundswell and build consensus between multiple groups to drive enterprise deals
- Execute upon a strategic account plan to grow our business and value, visibility, usage, and adoption
- Managing and build a strong expansion pipeline
- Work closely with an account team to deliver against a strategic account plan
- Expanding visibility into the C-suite and Sr. Management
- Executing end-to-end sales cycles- Prospect, qualify, develop, close & grow customers
- Delivery
- Creating and delivering accurate sales forecasts
- Be a trusted advisor and be able to provide solutions to business challenges that are mutually beneficial.
The Strategic Account Executive reports to the VP of Strategic Accounts.
Requirements
- 8+ years of successful enterprise SaaS sales experience
- History of exceeding quota performance & account retention goals
- Has sold large deals (1M+) within multi-matrixed enterprises
- Experience building consensus and groundswell within large enterprises
- User Experience domain expertise is highly valued- UX Research experience highly valued
- Experience with strategic consultative selling into UX, Insights, Digital/Online Marketing, and Product teams
- Experience developing strategic account plans for growth & customer retention
- Have lead account teams to include AM/CSM, SDR/BDR, Delivery & Marketing teams
- Experience delivering strong business cases, QBR/EBRs and success plans with current customers
- Creative and strategic problem-solver
- Bachelors degree from an accredited 4 year university
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter, with demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player and competitor who likes to win as a team
- Able to travel ~ 30%
