Position Overview

As a member of the senior leadership team, the In-Park Revenue Director provides leadership and direction for the Food & Beverage and Retail departments, and the In-Park Revenue Director will assist in developing all internal programs related to revenue generation for the property. Provides strategic goals and insight to grow each department's per caps & performance. Responsible for leading a team of two full-time managers and 100+ seasonal associates.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all functions related to the safe and effective operation of the Food & Beverage and Retail departments

  • Implement strategies to grow revenue, per caps and profitability for the in-park spending departments.

  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and food safety regulations and procedures; ensure Food Service facilities are clean and operating at maximum efficiency

  • Work with the maintenance department to ensure equipment and food services facilities are professionally maintained, and downtime is minimized.

  • Create product requisitions and manage inventory

  • Ensure all Food Services employees are aware of and adhere to all guest service standards and principles

  • Responsible for maintaining Food & Beverage presentation standards at all Food Service facilities

  • Responsible for the execution of all food inventory policies and procedures, with a focus on controlling costs and managing waste

  • Ensure continued compliance with local Health Department sanitation guidelines and codes

  • Provide leadership over the recruitment process; may assist with training seasonal staff, as well as manage the department's labor expense

  • Provide leadership to the seasonal leadership team and frontline team members

  • Assist in executing seasonal set-up and layout of retail locations and ensure that all visual displays are clean, presentable, in good working order and in proper positioning /composition to drive store sales

  • Ensure compliance with Child Labor Laws and company policies/procedures

  • Address customer concerns and provide customer service recovery plans

  • Facilitate communication, operational readiness, and overall guest service to the entire facility

  • Develop and regulate departmental labor budgets

  • Be an active participant on park teams, including the manager-on-duty program

  • Monitor department team member voice survey scores and assist in the development of initiatives to address areas of needed improvement

  • Perform periodic performance evaluations of seasonal staff

Requirements:

Experience: 5-7 years of management experience in hospitality (or a comparable fast-paced environment) is required. Knowledge of food codes is essential, and understanding current food and retail trends is a plus.

Education: A four-year degree from an accredited college with 5+ years' experience in a high-volume multi-unit location or equivalent experience.
