Description

CME Associates is seeking a qualified Stormwater Engineer to join our team in Parlin, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing and reviewing stormwater designs and analyses associated with stormwater conveyance and management systems, preparing permitting-related documents, plans, and reports, and providing recommendations to design teams company-wide on project-specific stormwater and permitting items. The applicant should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review stormwater designs and analyses for stormwater conveyance and management systems.

• Prepare permitting-related documents, plans, and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Provide recommendations to design teams company-wide on project-specific stormwater and permitting items.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success and regulatory compliance.

• Conduct field assessments and investigations related to stormwater management.

• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to stormwater management and conveyance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in stormwater analysis and design.

• Familiarity with NJDEP and Soil Erosion Control Regulations.

• Proficiency in CADD software for drafting and design.

• Experience with HEC-RAS for hydraulic modeling.

• Proficiency in stormwater software for analysis and design.
