About the Job:
The Department of Natural Resources is currently seeking a Store Clerk at Brookville State Park. This professional will manage all aspects of 2 camp stores, and a concession operation. You will supervise, schedule, and hire 10-15 seasonal employees. Also, you will maintain inventories and purchases products to resale in these operations, supervise and manage the Mounds Beach concession stand, purchases food products for resale and supervises concession employees. This professional will follow all state SOP's for purchasing and accounting, and must attend training offered by the state.
A Day in the Life:
Supervise and manage the entire resale operation of Brookville Lake and Whitewater State Park.
Follow all applicable state SOP's to purchase supplies for property resale operations.
Responsible for ensuring all invoices are paid within 30 days, and follow's accounting SOP's.
Must reconcile property C-card, within the proper time limits.
Supervise 10-15 seasonal employees, and ensures they provide high quality service to our guests.
Coordinates with various vendors to ensure our property is receiving high quality products at best prices.
Maintains approx. 18 vending machines on a weekly basis.
Assist property staff to plan and implement large special events for our guests.
What we're looking for:
Must have a high school diploma and valid Indiana Driver's License. Must obtain ServeSafe certification within one year.
Must complete all required training offered by state personnel.
Must attend monthly property safety training.
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
Must obtain Servesafe certification.
Must have the ability to perform physical labor and perform tasks in all types of weather.
