Job Summary

The Storeroom Coordinator will be responsible for maintain the maintenance storeroom, ordering parts, stocking shelves, maintaining inventory levels, cleaning, and retrieve incoming packages from the receiving department.

Essential Functions

• Provide accurate data reporting for accounting, special project support for materials research, food safety program administration, maintenance, and engineering administration support.

• Assist site financial group with inventory validation and financial requirements per company policies, including conducting routine cycle counts to ensure 100% accuracy.

• Investigate cycle count discrepancies and identify root cause for resolution.

• Ordering and securing all necessary parts and maintaining storeroom inventory control requirements, including all parts receipts and disbursements in a timely manner.

• Ability to issue purchase orders for service orders and process invoices on daily basis.

• Help support the finance tea, with month end activities and ability to understand budget and accounting fundamentals.

• Work closely with maintenance department on initiating purchase requisition and creation of purchase orders.

• Work with vendors in procurement of general supplies and monitoring order levels

• Proper documentation on purchase orders for audit trails

• Help support all safety initiatives and strict adherence to safety rules and regulations.

• Support cost analyst with other purchasing of raw materials

• Assist in preparation of Capital projects for closing.

• Ability to receive all raw materials and capital projects purchases into Mainsaver and BPCS/Oracle

• Serves as a backup support for month end, quarterly and year end activities.

• Manage all intercompany purchases, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.

• Ability to review and follow-up on receipts but not invoice and open purchase orders.

• Able to pick up delivers from shipping department twice daily.

• Able to work late during close and mandatory deadline periods.

Job Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Mechanical parts and inventory knowledge (required)

• Must have a minimum of 3 -5 years of experience in Storeroom Inventory Control (Manufacturing experience preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office such as word and excel.

• Must possess basic computer skills for use of systems:(BPCS, Mainsaver, and Docushare client)

• Basic knowledge of the BPCS or any related inventory management system preferred.

Preferred

• Must have some knowledge in production supplies and spare parts.

• Knowledge of warehouse process flow (including shipping and receiving of parts)

Environment

Office work area is a climate-controlled environment. Requires time in the manufacturing area of 50-75% where it is a hot/cold, dusty, and noisy environment. While in the manufacturing area, required PPE must be worn.
