Storeroom Clerks receive and stock all supplies from Medline, Cardinal, UPS, FedEx Express, FedEx Ground and etc. Responsible for pulling requisitions that are in requisition inbox and logging once complete. Completes cycle count on shelf after items have been pulled. Delivers all supplies, left by Storeroom that day. Ensures all supplies are put up and that the warehouse and the loading dock areas are kept clean of trash and debris.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds, have a valid Louisiana driver's license (Class D license preferred) and maintain an excellent driving record. Experience with shipping and receiving and/or inventory management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the materials flow, processes, and documentation for the organization.

  • Tracks inbound freight with Supply Chain Logic software utilizing PC's and handheld units.

  • Monitors, generates, receives, and fills supply distribution requisitions using appropriate inventory management procedures.

  • Distributes inbound freight and inventory items to appropriate designations.

  • Stacking, sorting, rotating (FIFO), and organizing inventory

  • Keeping stock neat and organized at all times

  • Completing accurate cycle counts each month

  • Maintaining accurate logs

  • Operating electric lift and pallet jack

  • Daily cleaning/sweeping of warehouse to maintain a safe environment

  • Make sure SCL handheld scanners are downloaded at the end of each day.

  • Rotate items on the shelf as needed.

  • Check all items with expiration dates to avoid having them expire.

  • Operate the electric lift to store and pull items from the top racks.

Schedule:

Full-Time

Monday - Friday

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay Range:

Hourly/Non-Exempt

$11.41 - $16.12
