Assist Store Managers in many of the day-to-day tasks such as personnel training, completing fuel surveys, making bank deposits and receiving product. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service by ensuring products are stocked in a clean and safe environment.

The shift lead will also be responsible for the sale of product and operating the cash register. In the absence of management may be required to complete a list of other routine duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Resolve customer issues and provide an excellent shopping environment by ensuring the interior, exterior and bathroom areas are kept clean. Identify selling opportunities and ensure products are available for customer purchase by stocking inventory in accordance with prescribed plan-o-grams.

Complete necessary steps and paperwork to receive all deliveries and ensure fuel and merchandise are available to customers. Submit service tickets to resolve problems or issues affecting the store. Complete all tasks necessary to prepare for opening or closing store including fuel surveys and shift duties as required.

In the absence of management provide backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolve problems, review daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance. Train new cashiers on daily duties.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18+ Years of age, 19 in Alabama and 21 in Illinois.

High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 month of related on the job experience. Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience. Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching.

Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Must have dependable transportation.

Most importantly, you will work closely on a team that cares for our customers in an environment where we thrive by winning together. * Implement visual merchandising presentation standards and guidelines at store level that are consistent with company standards and directives. Includes all seasonal strategy, bimonthly directives and division directives that include fixture usage, placement and standards, dressing of mannequins, forms, signing, accent lighting and all related activities. * Assist Visual Manager in directing the communication, implementation and follow-up of visual issues (sales events, visual set-ups, shop installations, promotions, special events) with ASM's and sales associates within the store to insure visual efforts are maintained and compliment the merchandising efforts. * Plan, install and maintain visual setups, shop installations, promotional events and signing per BSS seasonal events, bimonthly directives and division directives to compliment architecture and department layout of the store. * Install 22"x28" promotional event signing in sign holders at entrances to stores and other collateral based on Promotional Sales Event Signing Standards. * Participate in daily/weekly walk through with Visual Manager and Store Manager to review any visual issues that need to be addressed. * Maintain visual merchandising storage area and room to prevent any damage or destruction of existing visual collateral or tools. * Choose merchandise and accessories to be presented on mannequins and bust forms throughout the store to compliment corporate fashion trends. * Press, steam and remove tags to prepare merchandise for installation on mannequins and bust forms. * Dress mannequins, bust forms and drapers using specified corporate guidelines on a regular schedule according to BSS seasonal events, bimonthly directives or division directives, or as merchandise availability dictates. * Responsible for the installation of all seasonal trim installation based on Corporate Visual directives. * Order and install vendor lettering, graphics and plaques by demand center as needed or prescribed in the corporate vendor listing. * Adjust and target all accent lighting that are complementing mannequins, table forms, strike zones, feature walls, end walls and fixturing along main aisles. * Inspect/check all incoming receipts and transfers of visual merchandising items, fixtures, collateral and supplies. * Perform daily visual maintenance of all areas. Work with Store Manager, ASM's and sales associates to see that daily standards are executed and maintained. * Assist in special events and in-store promotions as directed. * Complete additional tasks as assigned. Minimum Education & Requirements: * High School Diploma * Ability to adhere to all policy and procedure manuals * Basic knowledge of tools and measuring devices * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs * Ability to climb ladders and work at heights * Ability to lift and carrying props * Ability to assemble displays and hang signage at elevated heights * Ability to operate a computer * Ability to work unsupervised * Ability to stand for long periods of time Preferred Education: * Bachelors degree and/or equivalent years of experience * Specific Degree: BS Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Architecture, Interior Design or Art Related Field * Specific Certifications: N/A * Specific Training: In Store Visual Merchandising Belk Moultrie GA
