This position will be on 2nd Shift (2p-10p) providing clerical support for the Store Room of a large manufacturing facility. Must be willing to work OT as needed as well as some weekend / holidays when the operations requires Store Room support.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Code and enter requisitions, receipts, and other data into SAP.

  • Weigh material trucks and calculate net weights of material.

  • Perform cycle counts of material in the Store Room to insure accuracy of the inventory

  • Basic filing required for incoming material on a timely basis

  • Assist as needed with storeroom duties assigned by supervisor.

  • Ability to successfully lift 50 to 75 pounds.

  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders as needed.

Working environment is in an office but there will be times exposed to extreme hot and cold, noise, vibrations, oils, and atmospheric conditions, such as dust, fumes, and metallic particles.

High school diploma or GED, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, is required. Prior experience working in an Store Room, Warehouse or inventory crib preferred. Attention to detail with product counts, units of measure, stock locations and cycle count data is expected. General housekeeping duties are part of the Safety measures for this position. Knowledge of SAP is preferred.

As a Distribution Center Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of non-exempt employees in CVS Health's state of the art distribution facility. This includes planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and supervising the daily activities of an assigned shift and functional area to achieve performance goals and metrics within the distribution center. Additionally, you will be responsible for order selection, replenishment, loading, and shipping of store orders. You are also responsible for maintaining a high level of productivity and quality. Candidates for this position must be available to work a 2nd shift, Monday-Friday from 12:00 pm-9:00 pm, with additional flexibility during peak seasons. Selected candidate will need to have flexibility of working off shift hours, during initial training period. Primary Responsibilities of the Distribution Center Supervisor: * Hiring, on-boarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to new hires * Ensuring employees have the necessary equipment, materials, and documents to ensure successful completion of tasks * Monitoring and adjusting resources to achieve the daily production and delivery goals * Balancing workloads by taking readings throughout the day to achieve the appropriate level of volume by the projected time of completion * Monitoring the work performance of each employee to ensure that quality and quantity expectations are met or exceeded * Conducting staff meetings and verifying that daily worksheets are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis * Providing ongoing training and retraining of employees to ensure that they are prepared to meet or exceed the productivity standards for their function * Utilizing a variety of reports, summaries, and procedures to project workload and resolve problems that arise during the workday * Communicate effectively across all levels * Analyzing information effectively to make sound business decisions * Build high-performance teams while engaging and inspiring colleagues Required Qualifications * 2+ years of prior supervisory or group leading experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environment * 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) COVID Requirements COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement CVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
