We'd love to hear from people with:

  • 3 years retail / customer service management experience or

  • 4 years of US Military service

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills

  • Entrepreneurial mentality with experience in a sales focused environment

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor team partners with professional maturity

  • Minimum High School or GED


  • Legal documentation establishing your identity and eligibility to be legally employed in the country in which you apply.

  • Ability to work full time (the work regularly demands in excess of 40 hours per week) including variable hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/ or holidays.

Responsibilities and Duties: * Answer incoming phone calls in a friendly, professional manner. * Maintain a positive attitude and able to work in a team environment. Collaborate with team members to quickly and effectively assist customers with their mechanical breakdown needs. * Communicate in a professional, courteous, and concise manner. Follow the level of communication standards set by the department manager. This includes both written and oral communication. * Able to effectively explain policies, procedures, and contractual terms to customers, repair centers, and fellow employees. * Answer customer questions regarding contract coverage and claim status. Understand component coverages as listed with PWI products. * Establish new claims for customers, validating the pertinent facts of the claim by asking predetermined questions and/or clarifying responses with customers. * Able to effectively use and navigate all related software applications in order to determine claim coverage, repair costs or reasons for denial. Examples of these applications include PWI internal applications and third party parts and labor guides. * Complete understanding of the shop system, including ratings, labor rates and type of repairs. Able to accurately determine average labor and provide customers with proper shop referrals based on location and type of repair. * Able to process, approve, and complete customer claims, where there is a single component required and the total cost does not exceed the limits of a CSR I. * Work closely with Claims Adjusters to resolve problems and complaints. * Perform follow up calls to customers and shops to determine current state of repair. * Work closely with and understand the functions of other company departments to ensure customers needs are met. * File documents and process customer mailings as needed. * Able to consistently pass claims audits. Audits are based on accuracy, timeliness, appropriate action and effective communication. * Meet all key performance indicators of the CSR I position. * Other duties, as assigned. Educational Requirements and Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED required. Some post high school course work in related field is preferred. One (1) to three (3) years of prior customer service experience is preferred. Prior experience in the automotive and service contract services industry is also preferred. Position requires demonstrated organizational, clerical, oral, and written language skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Type a minimum of 40 words per minute, telephone, computer, standard office equipment. Physical and Visual Requirements Position requires sitting for extended periods in an office environment with some walking, standing, and carrying (files, folders, etc.).
