We are looking for a leader who would be responsible for all store functions, including visual merchandising, team motivation/development, and driving retail sales.

Responsibilities include:

  • Understand and drive key financial metrics

  • Train and develop team to provide exceptional service and drive sales

  • Direct team to execute floor sets and visual displays

  • Manage and optimize payroll and staffing schedules

  • Recruit, interview and select top performing talent

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of store management experience in a specialty retail environment

  • Bachelor's degree or experience in Retail, Merchandising or a related field

  • Exceptional operational knowledge of a specialty retail store

  • Demonstrate a passion for the Brand

  • Customer focused

  • Positive, pro-active and flexible

  • Strong decision making skills

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong attention to detail in all aspects of store management

This includes, but is not limited to, being responsible for all Facility Ops Team Members' ongoing training and scheduling. They are also responsible for the department's budget, staffing, and projects. Job Duties and Responsibilities * Recruits for the Operations department and gives recommendations to the General Manager on hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions * Responsible for maintaining the monthly, quarterly and annual department budget, including submitting monthly financial reports to the General Manager * Ensures staff continually keeps locker rooms, fitness floors and common areas clean, tidy and welcoming at all times * Completes operations payroll and ensures labor costs fall within budgetary guidelines * Coaches, manages and schedules up to 40 team members * Responsible for training staff through orientation, direction, and feedback * Oversees maintenance and repair projects of the club, which includes maintaining communication with all departments to monitor condition Position Requirements * High School Diploma or GED * 2 year of management experience * Building operations experience * CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire * Certified Pool Operator license (CPO) within 6 months of hire * Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs. * Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time Preferred Requirements * College degree in business, hospitality, or related field * Health and Fitness operations experience * Proficient Computer Skills with Microsoft Office * Background in the Military is beneficial Life Time Fitness Burlington MA
