Stratum Networks is a rapidly growing information assurance and cybersecurity solutions company that provides high-end network and security consulting to Department of Defense and Intelligence Community clients. We are looking for a talented and passionate Storage Engineer who would support one of our clients located in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH POLYGRAPH TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION.Job Description

Proven skills in performing in-depth support, administrative functions, and performance management for NetApp data storage controllers running the ONTAP operating system in NFS and Windows (CIFS) multiprotocol environments. Or skills in any Data storage administration in general.

Understanding on how to implement high-availability controller configurations, and have knowledge of technologies used to manage and protect mission-critical data.

Working knowledge with Brocade\HPE SAN Switches and Brocade Network Advisor software or Webtools.

Ability to identify, troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.

Knowledge of Backup storage solutions architecture design, installation, configuration and administration in mission critical production environments.

Experience in CommVault Backup technologies design, implementation and administration and Management. Or knowledge on any of the following backup storage solutions: IBM Tivoli Storage Manager, Veritas Netbackup, Barracuda Backups technologies or Veeam Backup & Replication.

Working experience with Quantum Tape libraries or any LTO Libraries.

Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the servers/storage/san network devices/backup libraries, etc.

Working experience with VMware vSphere/vCenter.

Working experience with SQL cluster servers.

Working experience with Windows/Linux servers.

Desired Skills:

Strong Interpersonal, analytical and investigation skills, with a structured approach to problem solving.

Able to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently.

DoD 8570 Compliance with IAT level 1 is required.

Qualifications: Ten (10) years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or univerity is required.
