The Dell EMC OEM Inside Sales rep for Storage Serves as primary seller for the Dell EMC Primary, Specialty and Converged Storage portfolios for OEM customers in EMEA. Proactively sells directly to customers, while keeping the account team informed. Builds relationships across multiple levels of decision makers and influencers within accounts, prospects to generate pipeline and may engage product specialists as needed.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
Primary selling responsibility for Primary, Specialty and Converged Storage portfolios
Understands customer's business, value-drivers and communicates Dell EMC's unique value to customers
Engages up to CEO level & demonstrates measurable ROI
Maps customer challenges to Dell EMC storage capabilitie & responsible for prospecting & pipeline generation
Manages virtual team of specialists & resources
Support account planning with extended team
Identifies, develops, manages, and closes business
Maintains accurate sales forecast and pipeline & grows the account / territory to maximum storage potential
Drives Storage solution sales and is partnered with an ISR who manages overall account relationship and drives opportunities for Client & Compute. Collaborates with the direct sales teams across legacy companies, including but not limited to Sales, TSR and storage SEs, storage BDMs, and specialty sales teams, as appropriate
Call all existing customers minimum once a quarter
Qualify and follow through on Tech Refresh opportunities
Own and drive all Velocity Storage Programs and ensure all Storage opportunities have an owner
Drive Storage Opportunities in ownership of Storage ISR to closure, engaging account team and specialist support where required
Drive outbound Storage lead campaigns on non Storage buyers.
Detect/qualify/assign/own EMC E2E process - Stay informed and engage where required
Demand generation, identify customer needs, enter and maintain opportunity in Dell Sales Force Dot Com and complete system configuration & solution, pricing, process order
4-5 years of Inside Sales experience within Dell EMC
full understanding and knowledge of EMC portfolio
excellent skills in Outlook Office, Sales Force & My quotes
Heritage EMC experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English is a must
