Job Description:

Entelligence is seeking a seasoned storage architect to join our elite team supporting NetApp clients. The successful candidate must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and interact with representatives from Entelligence, NetApp, and the end-user. The Architect should be able to present solutions to business executives using clear non-technical writing and presentations but also be able to articulate technical aspects of the solutions to engineers responsible for building out the solution. The Architect will be looked at as a NetApp expert at their client sites leading various storage initiatives from implementations, migrations, managing storage environments, and more. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity.

We are looking for engineers with strong NetApp storage experience in 7-mode and preferably cDOT as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Project planning, development, and implementation of data center storage transformation projects using proven storage industry standards.

  • Understanding clients' existing storage infrastructure environments, designing future state business continuity and migration plans.

  • Install and configure NetApp storage systems

  • Capacity planning, management and analysis

  • Provide 3rd tier support

  • Lead a team of consultants as well as educate customers on NetApp best practices

Skills

  • Provisioning storage using iSCSI, CIFS, NFS, Fibre Channel

  • Experience leading projects for data migration and/or new application deployment

  • Defines and/or contributes to storage policies and procedures

  • Implement, design, monitor, trouble shoot and maintain NetApp storage environments

  • Well-versed in NetApp features like SnapShots, SnapMirror, SnapVault, data de-duplication, compression, thin provisioning

  • Effectively work in a team environment and strong interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as collaboration skills to direct resources across multiple disciplines

  • Ability to advise clients on current best practices

  • Problem analysis and resolution

  • Independent, proactive, and comfortable working in small teams of similarly elite personnel.
