The Candidate should be able to provide day-to-day support of the storage area network infrastructure, monitor and install new storage systems, establish and troubleshoot host connectivity, network cabling, FCoE and Fibre Channel including the implementation and administration of zoning and VSANs. A minimum of eleven (11) years of experience to include but not limited to the following requirements:

Designing, installing testing, implementing storage area network technologies including iSCSI, FCoE, and Fibre Channel SANsWorking knowledge of philosophy and practice underlying storage network operationsConfiguring and trouble-shooting both Windows and UNIX/LINUX based system connectivityAbility to utilize basic analysis resources to resolve routine network performance problems Experience deploying and managing network attached storage (NAS) systems and network file systems including NFS and CIFS Ability to provide basic explanation of technical procedures and processes clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiencesCommunication skills, both written and oralDemonstrated ability to be a quick learner who can work self - guidedDemonstrated ability to adjust to changing prioritiesKnowledge of Windows, Linux operating environmentsPersonnel shall possess knowledge and experience inOperating storage networks and networking technologies, particularly identification and solution of problems, restart I recovery, additions, deletions, and modifications of network switches, and servers Analyzing network and storage characteristics (e.g. traffic time, connect time, transmission speeds, utilization, packet size, and throughput), performance, and recommending procurement, removals, and modification to network components.

BS degree in Computer Science or related fieldMinimum of eleven (11) years of experience required Additional demonstration of expertise through the obtaining of industry standard certifications, and course work in key skill sets would be considered and valued similarly to the candidate having a Masters in Computer Science in needed area of expertise

Additionally they will provide support in the areas of data extraction, transformation and load (ETL), data mapping, data extraction, analytical support, operational support, database support, and maintenance support of data and associated systems. As a member of the team, candidates will work in a multi-tasking, quick-paced, dynamic, process-improvement environment that requires experience with the principles of large-scale (terabytes) database development, large-scale file manipulation, data modeling, data mapping, data testing, data quality, and documentation preparation. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience 10+ years of related software engineering and ETL experience. Resolves complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations. Conducts investigations and tests of considerable complexity. Researches emerging technologies to determine impact on application execution. Provides input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation. Troubleshoots complex problems and provides customer support for the ETL process Advises hardware engineers on machine characteristics that affect software systems, such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements. Prepares reports on analyses, findings, and project progress. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced software engineers. May serve as a technical team or task leader.
