Job Description Job Description Storage Engineer II (Hybrid) We have an immediate need for a direct hire Storage Engineer II to join a pediatric healthcare system. The Storage Engineer II will assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining data storage systems to ensure the efficient and reliable storage of data, including both structured and unstructured data.

Location: Orange, CA (Hybrid) This job expects to pay about $100,000 – 150,000 annually plus benefits. What You Will Do: Monitor and maintain storage systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.

Perform regular backups, data replication, and disaster recovery operations. Manage storage capacity and ensure efficient utilization of storage resources. Troubleshooting NAS & SAN storage solutions and backup issues Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate storage and backup systems with other technologies and ensure data security and compliance Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures, as well as generate reports on system performance and incidents.

Participate in capacity planning and future storage needs assessments. What Gets You The Job: Required: Bachelor's degree or additional four (4) years of equivalent experience in lieu of education. 3 – 5 years of proven experience as a Storage Engineer or in a similar role.

Experience with storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, RAID, and cloud storage solutions. Proficiency in storage management software and tools. Strong understanding of data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.

Knowledge of storage virtualization technologies. Experience working in a Unix/Linux environment is a plus.
