Job description:
10+ years of production support experience in Storage Administrator Experience.
Experience in Block and File level administration of EMC Storage Arrays,VNX-File, NetApp Filers and PURE Storage
Experience in Cisco and Brocade Switches
Experience in Storage Health checks, Switches Health Check, Switches Firmware upgrades and Storage Migrations
Expertise in Storage performance tuning and analysis
Basic Requirement:
10+ years of production support experience in Storage Administrator Experience.
Administrator Experience.
Demonstrable experience of managing high-performance, high-capacity Storage Arrays in a critical production environment.
Implementation experience of Storage allocation, reclamation, replication and migration
Implementation experience of File systems creation, reclamation, replication and migration
Implementation experience of Hosts zoning, unzoning and firmware upgrades on the switches
Performance assessment
Solid experience in general administration, troubleshooting (Break/Fix) and performance tuning skill
Willingness to work in 24*7 Global support model.
Willingness to work with vendor and cross tower teams for analyzing issues.
Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic & analytical skills.
Excellent communication & coordination skills are required.
Strong initiative and sense of ownership.
Excellent written and verbal communications
Experience working with onsite/offshore vendors
Builds positive working relationships, works collaboratively with other team members, and is a team player
Experience in a large corporate environment
Strong in Migrations - using different methods and must be able to provide best fit solution for migration

Job Role and Responsibilities: The Global Business Unit Sr. Financial Analyst is the key finance partner to the business leaders for Operations and Product Marketing teams within VMWare. As an integral member of the finance and business leadership teams, this position's overarching responsibilities are to provide financial information and analysis that is relevant, trusted, and insightful, which enables the executive leadership teams to make effective decisions that improve the Company's performance. Strong focus on continual enhancement of the quality, efficiency, and scale of financial information produced, through process improvements, financial tools and automation. In this role, you will work independently with support from the larger GBU finance organization driving actionable insights for the Storage Business Unit and ultimately a financial plan for topline growth. Specific responsibilities may include: * Bookings/Revenue actuals & plans models * Inbound licensing/COGS FP&A * Marketing programs, business trends and pricing analysis * Acquisitions: financial due diligence and integration * Business Unit pro forma statements * Short & long-term planning processes * Market opportunity assessment and financial modeling for R&D business cases * Business Partnership with R&D, Marketing and Sales * Capex, Deferred revenue and other analysis * Lead one or more of the critical financial planning & analysis processes for the Products Division. Examples include the inbound licensing framework and the investment/portfolio analysis process. Create, improve, or streamline the process as needed. Champion the framework and drive adoption within FP&A and the Products Division. * Collaborate with the Products FP&A team and other parts of VMware Finance to enhance the function's contribution to the company. Share best practices, identify gaps, drive change and help determine priorities. Required Skills: * Currently pursuing a full-time MBA degree * Strong project management, quantitative modeling, and complex problem-solving skills. * Ability to collaborate cross-functionally internally and externally, but also work independently and self-motivate in a rapidly changing environment. * Strong interpersonal skills, including effective writing and presentation skills, and ability to work with and influence senior-level business partners Preferred Skills: * Goal oriented with successful track record of managing deliverables from multiple parties to meet challenging deadlines * Comfort with ambiguity. * Strong and independent thinker and influencer * Track record of showing finance leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment * Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills * Strong initiative and collaborative work-style * Strength in succinctly explaining complex transactions and business impact * Ability to drive process-based improvement across functions and within Finance * Integrity, high energy and logical/structured thinking * Finance experience in enterprise software or other high-tech company with a strong record of career progression.
