Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Stockroom Utility Operator. Responsibilities include general duties throughout the stockroom department as needed, including break, vacation and absence coverage for all stockroom positions.

The jobs are all physical in nature and require standing and/or repeated bending, lifting, twisting and stretching during the entire shift. Daily accuracy and productivity of work is necessary for inventory control and accountability. Additional responsibilities include housekeeping and adherence to health and safety standards.

In this role you will operate a Filter Press, Dredge Belt, and Centrifuge at a Clean Harbors facility or at a customer location. Processing Operators ensure units have daily maintenance duties performed and communicates any problems or issues with the unit immediately upon discovery. This position offers overtime and travel opportunities on the company dime! We are looking for a hard-working individual with a flexible schedule who values customer service, to act as a liaison between sites and take pride in upkeeping the equipment. This is a 100% travel role, and candidates can reside in any state. Key Responsibilities: * Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times; * Operate centrifuge, dredge belt and filter press * Repair, maintain, clean equipment; * Assist with moving drums as necessary * Perform Dredge work such as cleaning out sediment in pumps, treat materials with chemicals, operate belt press or filter press; * Processing oil tanks, run materials through a centrifuges, dispose of waste materials; * Service and maintain equipment to ensure in working order; * Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues as well as any other issues that arise; * Complete all required paper work daily (safety documents, JSA's, work orders, service records and daily reports); * Work in shop during slow periods to assist in the maintenance and repair of all Clean Harbors equipment; * Assure unit is never operated in an unsafe manner or in a manner which is inconsistent with Standard Operating Procedures * Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business. What does it take to work for Clean Harbors? * 6 months construction or general labor experience required; * Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation is required; * Previous experience operating at minimum one of the following: a Filter Press, Dredge Belt/Belt Press and/or Centrifuge required; * Mechanically inclined with previous experience in electrical maintenance/repair, centrifuge maintenance/repair and general troubleshooting is a strong asset; * Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies; * Ability and willingness to travel 100% of the time and to work on an on-call basis; Requisition# 65082 Wondering what to expect in starting your career with Clean Harbors?
