Stockroom-Supervisor

The stockroom is the foundation of Bonnell's activities. The Stockroom Supervisor will report to the Maintenance Manager and say grace over hundreds of critical parts that help us maintain a good flow of inventory for our maintenance team. You'll have the opportunity to work with several business units including maintenance, shipping and receiving.

This position will supervise employees and work to maximize the flow of spare parts inventory while maintaining proper inventory levels to support maintenance functions to achieve the site's service level goals. Additionally, this position will monitor and promote inventory accuracy as a part of overall materials process functions and continuous improvement. What You'll Be Responsible For:

Provides necessary guidance and coaching to their team to ensure a safe, secure, and efficient operation. Supervise and coordinate activities of employees concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, and issuing parts. Responsible for daily planning, organizing and operations of the team that controls… Confirm accurate product reconciliation, materials, and tray counts throughout maintenance.

Ability to maintain and organize paperwork for internal and external auditing purposes. Oversee the timely process of needed documents to the finance team. Monitor productivity and quality control processes and make required adjustments to achieve expected benchmarks.

Initiates changes designs to improve control and efficiency of inbound and outbound services. Supply daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports to management as required. Ensure proper material flow utilizing FIFO methodology.

Responsible for maintaining appropriate staff, within the confines of an annual budget. What You'll Need to Have: Associate degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of experience in parts department operation.

Warehouse Management System understanding. Good working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, suppliers, and other business contacts.

It Would Be Great If You Had: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain and operations management, or related field. J.D.

Edwards (JDE) experience. At least three (3) years' experience in Warehouse Management or Logistics Management. Six Sigma Green belt and or Black Belt certification.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and rarely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibration.
