Job Designation

The Stockroom Clerk receives items into stockroom from incoming inspection, distributes parts to assembly line, verifies and maintains records. Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified, and readily accessible to authorized personnel, while following policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Job Core Responsibilities

• Pick and kit parts for Manufacturing Orders/Reservations.

• Inventory stock of materials, supplies, and parts.

• Attend daily DLA meeting.

• Inventory Maintenance i.e., Location Audits & Cycle Counts

• Process paperwork/pull reports in computer systems such as Costpoint 8 and ReportNet.

• Maintain accurate records of any transaction that involves moving stock within the stockroom or between departments.

• Comply with safety regulations for moving parts and operating heavy machinery.

• May need to work additional hours, as necessary.

• Document discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts of stock.

• Process damaged or defective stock per company protocol.

• Report malfunctioning or damaged stock-handling equipment to management.

Job Specifications

Education:

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

2-4 years of relevant experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with strong clerical skills, preferred.

• Forklift certification preferred
