POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Receives, issues and maintains stores of food and supplies for patient and retail operations
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Reconciles invoice against delivery with vendors
Inspects food items for quality, notifying food production manager of discrepancies between ordered and received amounts and item substitutions.
Notes time and initials delivery slips for items received for department records
Stores food in proper location and assures that inventory is rotated.
Advises staff on questions regarding inventory in stock
Rearranges stock to accommodate inventory movement using hand dollies and pallet jacks
Periodically takes physical inventory
Maintains stockroom and performs custodial duties in stockroom areas
Follows department policies and procedures for food safety and sanitation
Complies with infection control policy and hand washing procedures
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Six months of full-time experience as a Stockroom Attendant 1 OR equivalent education/experience.
