Maintains acceptable attendance based on Mouser Absence Policy guidelines, which are measured against the number of unscheduled missed hours. Must be at work on time. Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job

The following summarizes the key job accountabilities to be performed by a Stock Control Associate in assigned job function/area:
Confirms and receives part numbers and quantity on purchase orders on part label; checks for damaged parts; enters packing list number, quantity and purchase order number in Warehouse Control System (WCS).
Scans product to be stocked; verifies that supplier part number and quantity matches part number and quantity to be stocked; scans bin box; verifies parts in bin are the same as parts to be stocked; rotates parts so that first in is first out (FIFO), where appropriate. If adequate space is not available, utilizes handheld computer/iPad to find a location that will accommodate parts; scans parts and assigns parts location in WCS.
Pulls parts from bin box or shelving; verifies part numbers, COO, possibly traceability, quantity, etc. ordered with parts pulled; enters required information in handheld computer/iPad; repackages product as requested; reports issues professionally; meets customer requirement; applies and scans barcode.
Creates and/or updates all location and part information in WCS, increases available locations for stocking to store product, profiles parts by like attributes, places fast moving items in and moves slow movers out of premium locations. (Logistics includes job tasks from other functional areas such as stocking.)
Scans items into locations to consolidate orders; moves completed orders to next stage of order processing.
Verifies parts to be shipped; selects appropriate box and packing material; prints packing slip and label; packages orders to prevent damage; ships product in WCS.
Assists drivers with loading and unloading products; sorts product, pallets, boxes and moves to various areas within the warehouse; cleans and preps work areas by removing empty boxes from work stations and removing trash and various non trackable tasks. Picks up oversized and/or fragile parts not conducive to the conveyor system and hand delivers to the consolidation department in a timely manner.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior warehouse experience preferred
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
Able to use a computer, and handheld computer/iPad (preferred)
Able to count and match accurately and perform simple math
Able to read and understand instructions in English
Strong quality and productivity orientation
Able to maneuver in aisles 36" wide, stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push and pull for 10-12 hours, and reach, lift and carry products weighing up to 40 pounds from ground level and up to 2' (using stairs and ladders)
May be trained to operate a powered industrial truck (such as wave, forklift and/or pallet jack) (preferred)
Skill Evaluation: Counting 80%, Matching 80%
