Job Description:
Receive, stock, label material/storage locations, kit, prepare and issue material in multiple business environments.

Knowledge of Warehousing Inventory controls, including cycle count techniques, and statistical process controls. Ability to determine unique handling and storage requirements for sensitive/microelectronic devices.

Receives, unloads, verifies and counts various manufactured, and purchased stock items. Repackage items as required for protection purposes.

Stock items in various warehousing environments. Issues stock items to fill customer orders. Prepare kits for delivery to the shop floor.

Update business systems and/or records as required for all the above activity. Work from documents and system data to assimilate and maintain records for material traceability. Updates and interprets data while performing system transactions in multiple business systems. Uses PC based applications to view and execute transactions as well as communicate with customers.

May use specialized material handling equipment such as; vacuum picks, microscopes, dry nitrogen boxes, reel counters, scales, purge sealers, hand held scanners, flow benches, pallet servers and fork lifts in performance of duties. Use microscopes to identify obvious visual damage of electronic devices during the stocking and kiting operations and communicate damage to management.

Use production planning for orientation/topography in the process of kitting. Operates office equipment such as FAX machines and copiers. Analyze and apply standard packaging/handling processes as required for specific types of sensitive material, I.e. Chips, ASICS, PEMs, MSDs and clean room material.

Responds to physical documents and system demand signals to perform svstem transactions. Checks nhvsical documents and svstem demand signals for completeness and accuracy prior to performing transactions.

Route all material and documentation to the proper destination. Assure that all records are accurate and maintain the required level of traceablity for the e:iven environment I.e. Production, Engineering, Space.

Performs physical inventory counts to verify the physical versus system inventory record position.

May provide assistance to personnel in lower related job classifications. Interact with others in a teaming environment. Performs incidental related duties as assigned or requested by management.

Qualifications:

  • Successfi.tl completion of, and maintained proficiency in, the Certified Clerk Program

  • Ability to count and perfonn basic arithmetic calculations (add, subtract, n1ultiply and divide) accurately on a consistent basis

  • Ability to perform basic database inquiries

  • PC literate and familiar with basic database techniques

  • Basic knowledge of warehousing and inventory control techniques

  • Ability to identify, handle and repackage delicate/sensitive electronic devices

  • Ability to use Production planning in determining component orientation/topography in the process of kitting.
