Mission/Purpose of the Job

Support Mack and Volvo NA truck sales businesses through managing and optimizing the Sales to Order (StO) processes and tools. Work with various stakeholders throughout the value chain to secure effective and efficient processes supported by business rules and applications.


Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Drive process and solution improvements

  • Meet with Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks NA business stakeholders and perform an initial assessment of a problematic situation

  • Collect and document information through a variety of methods (shadowing, interviews, surveys, reading reports etc.)

  • Formulate recommendations and solutions based on business needs, capabilities and limitations

  • Present findings and suggestions with ample justification and practical advice

  • Facilitate workshops for continuous improvement activities and lead task forces

  • Coordinate with other Volvo Group business areas; utilize best practices and leverage synergies when possible

  • Provide guidance for any occurring problems and issues

  • Solution portfolio management

  • Support ongoing strategic projects with cross functional business knowledge

  • Secure and follow up on business case realization for all initiatives

  • Document and organize NA demands for solution enhancements (local and global)

  • Support the NA process & solution management fora in understanding, accepting and prioritizing requests for solution enhancements

  • Submit and champion NA solution enhancement requests to global fora

  • Escalate issues according to established procedures, and recommend future enhancements for process & solution roadmap

  • Promote and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, e.g. key users

  • Represent Group Trucks NA in relevant global forums and projects



Essential Educational and/or Training Qualifications and Certificates

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent level of related experience

  • Experience and knowledge in the truck sales process

  • Preferred Experience and Knowledge

  • 5-8 years' experience in related domains

  • Formal training in leadership, communication and people skills

  • Broad knowledge of diverse business areas (IT, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Logistics)

  • Solid understanding of IT projects, deliveries and methodologies


Required Competencies

  • Requirement and stakeholder management throughout organizational levels

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement or lean methodology

  • Change Management skills and experience

  • Minimum 5 years Business Analysis experience

  • Expertise in Process Mapping and analysis

  • Experience working in a complex global organization

Be involved in manufacturing of clinical trial materials for clinical trials leading to IND/NDA submission. Responsible for operation and maintenance of formulation and manufacturing lab and equipment. The individual will work closely with the Director of R&amp;D to ensure that project timelines are met and also assist in preparation of regulatory documentation.</p> <p><strong>Areas of Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with pre-formulation activities such as solubility screening, excipient selection &amp; compatibility studies, solid state characterization, and basic formulation activities such as blending/mixing/homogenization, milling, suspension, emulsification, casting etc.</li> <li>Experience in disintegration studies, viscosity, rheology, microscopy, formulation characterization, etc.</li> <li>Experience in operation, maintenance, and calibration and/or qualification of formulation and pilot manufacturing equipment.</li> <li>Experience in lab documentation and writing high quality scientific reports and regulatory submissions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Position Summary Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>Execute formulation product development studies and manufacturing for traditional dosage forms such as solid/liquid orals and parenterals as well as NDDS.</p> <ul> <li>Perform daily activities of formulation laboratory and clinical trial material manufacturing suite to ensure that all the assigned projects are completed on time.</li> <li>Maintain accurate and complete laboratory records as required by company policy and Good Laboratory &amp; Manufacturing Practices (GLP/cGMP) requirements.</li> <li>Perform laboratory experiments for pre-formulation activities, formulation, and process for conventional and novel technologies.</li> <li>Write SOPs, protocols, reports, and batch manufacturing records for transfer of products to manufacturing plants.</li> <li>Reporting to Director of R&amp;D, you will be responsible for completing assigned projects with on-time delivery</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Communicates effectively with clients and internally through written and oral presentation.</li> <li>Plans and executes complex projects in the areas of formulation and related analysis, and complex formulation and process development.</li> <li>Ensuring compliance with government rules and regulations (FDA, cGMP, DEA, ICH, OSHA, etc.).</li> <li>Interact with analytical chemists to correlate formulation and release/stability data.</li> <li>Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Ph.D in chemistry or pharmaceutical sciences with 1+ years’ experience, or M.S with 3+ years' experience or B.S. with 5+ years’ experience in formulation and process development.</li> <li>Experience working in a regulated environment under GMP and GLP requirements</li> <li>This is an entry level to associate position but there is opportunity to grow with the company.</li> <li>Candidate must have legal authorization to work in the United States.</li> <li>Mucodel Pharma is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Regionally competitive salary commensurate with education and experience.</p> Mucodel Pharma Greensboro NC
