• Family owned/operated 9-store chain BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Diagnose problems and determines what repairs are needed. Many jobs will include repair of STIHL small engines including: chainsaws, edger's, blowers, trimmers and other small engines.

• Skills in disassembly, assembly, and repair of components and machines.

• Performs all service tasks

• Prepares all forms (detail of work performed on repair orders) required in conjunction with job assignments to be entered into our computer system.

• Report any additional work required on equipment to customers, for proper and safe operation.

• Participates in all training programs.

• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.

• Brings to the attention of the Store Manager any shop tools or equipment, that is not in a serviceable condition or is unsafe to use. EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working with small engines, two-stroke and four-stroke.

• Ability to write diagnosis and work completed on routine reports (repair orders).

• Knowledge of small engines.

• Ability to speak effectively one-on-one with customers.

• Ability to use store computer and various types of diagnostic equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Ability to lift 60 lbs STORE OPERATIONS

• Assist in creating a positive, professional and safe work environment.

• Assist with receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise throughout the store.

• Assist with maintaining back stock levels.

• Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area.

• Assist with providing a clean and orderly sales floor, including end caps and ad merchandise.

• Assist with merchandise resets through the store.

• Provide assistance to Department Specialists, i.e. price changes, special orders.

• Ensure signage is current throughout the store.

• Operate forklift with proper training.

• Communicate any Store Support Center issue to General Manager for follow up.

• Communicate any merchandising, cost control or sales idea to General Manager.
