Position Summary:

The Steward is responsible for promptly and carefully sorting and cleaning dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans and other related items. The Steward must follow all instructions from supervisors to ensure the safety of themselves and others working in the kitchen. Must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of the department.

Job Duties:

  • Must follow proper payroll procedures; be on time for assigned shift and promptly.

  • Coordinates the flow of dirty and clean equipment throughout the day.

  • Ensure all outlets are prepared for the day's service.

  • Maintain a safe work environment; keep floors clear and dry, remove obstacles.

  • Ensure that all health department requirements are met; paper towels, trash, soap, sani-buckets are at the proper concentration.

  • Maintain food service sanitation certification (California Food Handler's Card)

  • Maintain a good working relationship with other employees.

  • Store items properly at the end of the shift.

  • Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area.

  • Handle and report any accident immediately, no matter how minor.

  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of hotel/resort.

  • Respond properly in any emergency or safety situation.

  • Embody mission, vision and values of the hotel daily.

  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned or requested.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.

  • Experience working as a kitchen steward, preferably in a resort/hotel environment.

  • Knowledge of cleaning detergents, chemicals and washing equipment and the proper safety procedures for their use.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

  • Ability to work with management staff and other employees in a professional manner.

  • Ability to work day, nights, weekends and holidays.

Team Structure The account and contact data steward, which rolls up into the Application Support (CXI) team, is a new role for someone who is passionate about data management. Role Description The data steward will lead the ongoing administration and maintenance of our prospect and customer accounts and contacts and related data. The data steward will work closely with business leaders, functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to ensure the health of the account and contact data. The data steward will be responsible for maintaining the data integrity and executing on the day-to-day maintenance, support, and improvement of the data. Essential Functions / Duties and Responsibilities * Serve as the accountable person and subject matter expert for account and contact data maintenance in and other transactional systems. * Ensure data quality of accounts and contacts, including lead conversion, through automated matching processes via IQvia (accounts) and MedPro (contacts) and manual handling of unmatched records. * Establish procedures and handle all change requests in accordance with said established procedures and in support of relevant laws and regulations. * Understand the implications of data changes and ensure that all downstream systems, integrations and processes remain intact. * Ability to interact with members of the user community to define and document business requirements. * Define and document data quality rules, approval processes, availability rules, and exception reports. * Identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality problems. Competencies * Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize requests, manage laterally and upwards. * Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills. * Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills. * Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. * Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude. Qualifications and Experience * A minimum of three years Master Data Management (MDM) experience including defining standardization rules, match and merge rules, configuring thresholds, hierarchy management, workflow for data exception and data governance. * Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs. * Experience with transactional data, data governance, healthcare data, analytical MDM, and stewardship. * Strong understanding of data management concepts (data modeling, data governance, data quality, data stewardship). * Experience with, IQvia, and MedPro is a plus. * Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and detail-oriented.
