Omnichannel Operations & Order Management Senior Consultant
The Senior Consultant, Order Management is part of the Omnichannel Operations team and will perform analysis and troubleshooting of data and systems to ensure effective processing of Clients orders. This individual will be self-driven and analytical, with the ability to see patterns in data quickly and prescribe both short term workarounds and effective technical solutions. Responsibilities Analysis
Analyze order management system data using SQL and other analytical tools to support system configuration and solution code changes.
Analyze system logs to determine sources of errors from both the Sterling Order Management application (DOMS) and other applications that interface with DOMS.
Manage day to day operations of a new omnichannel order management system (Sterling)
Ensure orders placed by customers move quickly thru the system to be scheduled, processed and ready for pickup to meet promised delivery timing
Be the primary contact for all DOMS issues in partnership with product managers, inventory, logistics and store operations
Define and manage SOPs related with various order management related activities
Analyze demand and fulfillment reports to identify process improvement opportunities and partner with product managers, IT, store ops, inventory, logistics to improve the customer experience
Share daily and monthly reporting/insights and progress with stakeholders
Surface and resolve opportunities to refine parameters used to match inventory to demand using the order management system
Analyze order fulfillment and customer experience related metrics on monthly basis and identify opportunities to better match fulfillment channels with customer demand Required:
Strong technical and analytical skills including ad hoc query development using SQL and data analysis using Excel and/or other tools
Customer first mindset; passion for improving customer experience and operational efficiencies
5+ years of professional experience working in e-commerce, operations, or related IT roles
Ability to pull data from various data sources, summarize it in excel and share key insights with stakeholders
Working knowledge of Retail Front Store business (especially order fulfillment, supply chain and order management will be a plus )
Prior experience of working with distribution centers, call centers (IT and product managers will be a plus )
Minimum of 5 years of experience in eCommerce technical role required
