Sterile Processing Technician

Receives, cleans, distributes and stores medical instruments and equipment.

Job Duties

  • Cleans, disinfects, decontaminates, and sterilizes medical instruments and equipment using appropriate methods, substances and equipment.

  • Properly disposes of bio hazardous substances, chemicals, medical waste, and unusable equipment and supplies

  • Receives, stocks, packages, and distributes medical instruments.

  • Performs and documents required quality assurance testing and inspection on stock.

  • Properly disposes of bio hazardous substances, chemicals, medical waste, and unusable equipment and supplies.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Certified as a CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) or CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) within one year of hire

Duration: 6 months Summary Kelly Services is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician for our customer that designs, builds, and services thin-film deposition equipment that produce plasma based decorative and functional coatings to improve products around the world. We are seeking a highly motivated, creative Electrical Engineering Technician for the development of our vacuum process equipment electrical documentation. The successful candidate will have experience in Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical for industrial power and control design. Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions) * Design and drafting of three phase power, control, and I/O schematics * Design and drafting of electrical panel, junction box, and device layouts * Design and drafting of custom cable assemblies * Utilize AutoCAD Electrical parametric automation capabilities including development of custom schematic symbols and device layout footprints. * Support in house new machine start-up commissioning including initial Ethernet/IP and Profibus network configuration, initial PLC program load, configure controls devices such as communication adapters, remote I/O and VFDs. * Assist with initial I/O checkout and debugging of electrical equipment. * Provide some initial PLC software troubleshooting and testing. * Configure industrial computers by setting up the operating system, installing and configuring industrial software such as HMI and Historian applications, testing final configuration for communications proper functionality. Skills, Education and Experience * 2+ years of AutoCAD Electrical design and drafting experience. OEM or systems integrator experience is preferred. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Familiarity with machine electrical testing and troubleshooting using current electrical safety procedures including NFPA 70E and Lockout/Tagout * Maintenance support level of understanding of PLC programs including reading PLC programs and viewing status of inputs and forcing outputs. Rockwell Automation Studio 5000 or RSLogix 5000/500/5 preferred. * Familiarity with personal computer operating systems configuration, Microsoft Windows 7 Pro, Windows 10 Pro, networking, and software installation. * Familiarity with regulatory requirements, such as: NEC, UL, and CE Qualified candidates should email resume and references for consideration to ray.brown@kellyengineering.com.
