Sterile Processing Technician (Prn)

Job Description

Saint Luke's is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech (PRN) OR department at Saint Luke's South Hospital (12300 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS)

Position Details:

• PRN Shift Hours: Tues-Fri - Afternoon /Evening/2nd shift coverage

• Available to work at least 4 shifts per month

• PRN flexibility & opportunity for additional shifts (such as taking call shift, weekends, days)

• Processing instruments that are used in procedures in the operating room

• Cleaning soiled instruments (decontamination)

• sterilizing instruments, storing sterile instruments

• Documentation of processes

• High attention to detail

Experience:

• 1 year of Sterile Processing Tech experience

If you have experience in one of the below areas, you could be a great fit:

• SPD, SPT

• Sterile Processing and Surgical Tech Student or Program

• Medical Equipment Preparer

• Central Service Tech

• Distribution Tech

• Medical Instrument Tech

• Sterilization, autoclave
