Sterile Processing Technician

Blue Water Surgery Center is a freestanding outpatient surgical facility dedicated to a broad range of surgical procedures. Our surgeons specialize in orthopedics and spine surgery.

We are currently searching for Full-Time Sterile Processing Technicians to work Mondays - Fridays in a busy, fast-paced, ambulatory surgery center. Experience as a surgical scrub tech preferred.

You must be able to work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, delivering sterile supplies and retrieving contaminated supplies; cleaning and examining instruments to ensure they are properly cleaned and in working order; preparing and packing decontaminated supplies for sterilization; testing and reporting any issues or problem with sterilizing equipment or instruments; maintaining records of sterilization procedures, sterilized items, equipment maintenance, and supplies

You must possess a HS school diploma/GED, have completed a SPD certification, have strong moral and ethical character references, strong communication, customer services skills, basic computer skills, energetic, positive and strong team player, and able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi - task.
