Sterile Processing Tech FT

Memorial Hermann Park Ten Surgery Center has an immediate need for a full time Sterile Processing Tech Job Summary : The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases. Required Skills:

High School diploma or GED required Completion of a Sterile Process Certification Program. CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience. Experience with all types of sterilizers.

Knows operating room instrumentation. Understands operation of steam/gravity sterilizer. Understands Sterrad sterilizers.

Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
