MISSION
The Sterile Processing Tech is responsible for preparing, tracking, and sterilizing equipment and instruments in an accurate and timely manner, as well as supplying the operating room with case carts, sterile trays, and supplies for all areas of the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
OUTCOMES
Maintains clean and sterile equipments in accordance to manufacturer recommendations and current policies with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm.
Willing to learn and adopt new responsibilities based on shifting demands of providers and the medical team.
Effectively provides quality control through routine testing and cleaning to assure sterilization equipment and instruments are functioning properly, while continuining to provide accurate documentation.
