Summary of the Job: Supervisory responsibilities to include accountability of staff and self for maintaining quality performance standards, implementing professional practices to include AORN and AAMI, and driving efficiency and productivity.# Develops and implements work plans and measurable outcomes.# #

Minimum Qualifications:

Surgical Technologist graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology.

Sterile Processing Certification through the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Mgmt (IAHCSMM) required. Leadership role experience (Charge, Lead) required with minimum of two years in Sterile Processing.


Preferred Qualifications:


Department Head or Supervisor role of a Sterile Processing Department preferred; acute care facility preferred.# # Physical Demands: Must possess good physical health.# Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time.# Lifting at least 50 pounds is required.# Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise. Physical Effort required:######## Constant (67%-100%) - handling/feeling, talking, hearing, seeing Frequently (34%-66%) - lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching Occasionally (1%-33%) - climbing (stairs, ladders, etc.), balancing, stooping, crouching
