Per Diem - Variable Shifts POSITION SUMMARY Under the direct supervision of Sterile Processing Manager, the Sterile Processing Aide is responsible for pick-up, cleaning of instrument containers and case carts, and distribution of clean case carts to OR (Operating Room) holding area. This position is also responsible for re-taping of color coding instruments, wrapping textile packs, putting supplies away, and checking the peel pack par levels.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education or Formal Training 1.### High school student or equivalent preferred 2.### 18 years old or above Special Qualifications (Licensure, Registration, etc.) None Knowledge, Skill and Ability 1.### Good communication and comprehension skills, both verbal and written 2.### Ability to lift and move trays of instruments up to 25 pounds 3.### Ability to lift trays of instruments above the head, push and pull carts to and from surgery to SPD (Sterile Processing Department), walk, and stand for long period of time. See Working Environment/Physical Activities for more information. 4.### Ability to maintain required level of confidentiality Experience None MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED Standard equipment including: telephone, instrument trays, peel pouch machine, sterilizers, computer, and transfer carts WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES 1.### Physical working environment may include, but not be limited to, any of the following hazards: high pressure steam, chemical, electrical, mechanical, bio-waste, stress, back strain, body fluids, etc. 2.### Environmental conditions may include, but not be limited to, variances in temperature, noise, odors, multi-stimuli, etc. 3.### While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to constantly stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to stoop, crouch, and twist.

The employee occasionally is required to kneel, squat, and sit. 4.### The employee must be able to consistently support, push, pull and/or lift up to 10 pounds; frequently support, push, pull and/or occasionally lift up to 30 pounds (for example, lifting a tray of surgical instruments). 5.### Functional physical demands include manual dexterity and fine motor skills and reaching. The following senses will be needed for essential duties of the job: speech, vision, hearing, smells and touch (i.e., tactile differentiation of temperature and moisture).

Qualifications: Engineering Aide II Under the supervision of a designated engineer, work within the design engineering team to execute on customer commitments. The role may include interfacing with engineering tools such as SolidWorks, spreadsheets, databases, PDM systems and analysis applications. What you'll do: * Perform a variety of technical assignments requiring a knowledge of engineering, science, or other technical applications. * Assist and support engineering, production, etc., in the development, testing, and assembly of a wide variety of company products and systems. * Perform specialized functions of a technical nature requiring the applications of both technical theory and practical knowledge. * May need an understanding of principles of object-oriented programming in a network environment, with rudimentary programming skills such as Java, C++, C sharp, and HTML. * Gather, maintain, format, compile, manipulate technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. * Produce technical documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). * Perform detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. * Use personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. * May conduct tests and record data to assist with technical evaluation or analysis. * Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule. * Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Support Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment. * Perform other duties as necessary. What you'll need: * High School diploma or equivalent plus 4 years or more related experience or a related 2-year technical degree and 2 years or more related experience. Degree in a math or science related discipline is preferred. * Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor's or Master's, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education. * Fluency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. * Experience in learning, understanding and mastering enterprise applications. * Experience in working with details, completing tasks at or under budget, and staying self-motivated and energetic in completing assignments. * Experience in tracking and completing multiple tasks from multiple stakeholders. * Willingness to volunteer assistance when it has not been explicitly requested.
