Schedule: Occasional Status, 8-430 with often late stays and 1 weekend of call a month

As a Sterile Process Tech, at Medical Center Enterprise, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients.

Job Summary: The Central Sterile Technician is a member of the C.S. team with training in Central Sterile procedures pertaining to the processing of sterile and unsterile items. This position is responsible for the technical duties of: decontamination, cleaning, assembling, sterilizing, storing inventory and distribution of medical devices, instruments, trays, packs, and supplies used to deliver patient care.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalency.

• One year experience preferred

• Central Sterile Technicians II must have completed one year of orientation plus completed the Purdue University Central Sterile Course and shown documented competency.

• Certification in Sterile Processing preferred.

• Current BLS from the AHA or ARC
