Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Elementary K-6 Instructional Certification required.

• Subject Matter Specialization Endorsement (or eligibility) in Science Grades 5-8 recommended.

• Can identify and apply educational and technology-related research, the psychology of learning, and instructional design principles in guiding use of technology in education.

• Identify, implement, and investigate software in both classroom and administrative environments.

• The STEM teacher will identify resources, plan, and design staff development activities to support professional growth in learning technologies.

• Participate in professional development experiences that allow them to observe, evaluate, and apply the use of technology to support instruction.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.

• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
