The Dayton Regional STEM School seeks a highly motivated and effective high school math teacher to join an existing school faculty and staff for the 2024-2025 school year. The curriculum will include collaboratively designed project-based learning units that connect to multiple disciplines and/or real-life issues

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree by August 1, 2024
• AYA 7-12 Math teaching license or alternative license secured by August 1, 2024

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to integrate technology into the classroom

• Computer science experience or high interest in technology and computer science

• Experience working with high school students

• Master's degree or master's level coursework • Experience with Project Based Learning

Essential Functions and percent of time:

~Plan and deliver course instruction for high school students

• 75%

~Collaborate with other teachers to develop and refine content & materials for courses

• 20%

~Participate in various meetings (including IEPs, conferences, etc.) and professional development opportunities

• 5%
