RESPONSIBILITIES: The responsibility of the instructor is to develop and facilitate a "course" totaling 10 hours of interactive material based on a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). The course will be taught for groups of up to 20 students in who are between the age of 13 and 16 years old. The course will meet Monday through Friday from either
11 am, 11:45 am
1:45 pm or 2 - 4 pm.
Instructors will be responsible for creating a course proposal, template provided, and outline the course description and daily activities. The course should provide appropriate instruction for the age group and introduce STEM topics in an interesting and interactive manner. Must be able to submit necessary documentation and pass a background check.
Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or equivalent experience
Willingness to work with students ages 13
Teaching background in STEM discipline
Experience designing curriculum or planning program activities
Experience working with students between the ages of 7 and 13 years old
