Howmet Fastening Systems Tucson Operations is looking to fill an entry level pre-assembly technician. Position is responsible for the testing of parts meeting print and specification requirements.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Testing of Parts
Assists with inspecting components to the proper customer and production specifications.
Performs 5-S duties on a regular basis as necessary.
Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Helps to ensure that quality and standards for the department are adhered to and maintained.
Demonstrate enthusiasm, takes initiative, and works with a sense of urgency to meet or exceed production targets.
Demonstrates learning ability to understand and interpret and variety of technical instructions including manufacturing drawings.
Must have basic computer, math and reading skills
Ability to regularly communicate and work with a team
Must be able to lift and handle up to 35 pounds on a frequent basis
Must be able to use Micrometers, Calipers and Comparator
Must be able to set up and test parts on speedy tester machine
