Job Overview:

As part of the Analytics team, you will be responsible for making recommendations on enrollment strategy, both within the U.S. and globally, as well as identifying issues and opportunities hidden in the data.

Ability to work well in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment coupled with excellent communication skills are crucial to the success of this position as you will be interacting extensively with internal teams to ensure that business objectives are met.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-depth operational analytics for the Site Enrollment Optimization (SEO) department in order to solve current business problems and improve performance.

  • Develop and execute reports to help measure the effectiveness of the Enrollment Optimization efforts that also strategize where additional site-support efforts should be targeted.

  • Evaluate historical experience with prospective site footprint in order to make site optimization recommendations to PPD and the client.

  • Work with the SEO group to develop and maintain data structure best practices as well as helping to develop more automated reporting to improve efficiency.

  • Using client-provided reports identify patients in our internal database to accurately report project enrollment.

Job Skills and Requirements

  • Critical Thinking and Business-related Analytical

    Ability to analyze large amounts of data - facts, figures, and trends - in order to find new information and offer recommendations that are in line with business needs.
  • Database Skills:

o Strong Excel skills.

o Knowledge of databases, querying large datasets and writing SQL statements.

o SAS experience preferred

  • Math

    Ability to crunch numbers and evaluate numerical data.

o Bachelor's Degree required, ideally in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering, etc.

o MBA or Master's degree a plus.

  • Communication Skills:
    Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, findings and complex ideas to internal teams.

  • Attention to Detail: Vigilance in analysis, ensuring accuracy of data in order to infer correct conclusions.

  • Other/Soft Skills:

o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

o Ability to multi-task.

o Ability to work with minimal supervision.

o Self-motivated and strives for constant improvement.
