• We have an opening for full time STATIONARY/BOILER OPERATOR positions.

• Location: MDLZ - 200 DeForest Avenue East Hanover, NJ 07936. Note: online applications accepted only.

• Schedule: Full time schedule. Days and hours may vary. 1st Shift, Monday- Friday 7:00 am

• 3:00 pm and 3rd shift

• Friday

• Tuesday, 11:00 pm

• 7:00 am. More details upon interview.

• Requirements:

• Must possess a current Blue Seal Stationary Engineer/Boiler Plant Operator License in New Jersey.

• Experience with the operations of HVAC systems is required. Must have the ability to operate building automation systems.

• Proficient computer skills to manage the BAS systems and the applicant must possess good mechanical skills.

• At least 2 years of directly related work experience. Prior technician experience is required.

• Perks: Sign-on Bonus after 90 Days details at the final interview.

• Pay Range: $33.00 to $40.00

Job Summary

Operate the boilers on gas or fuel oil

• Monitor and Operate Building Automation System.

• Answer requests for HVAC Operational requests or adjustments

• Adjust heating, ventilation, and air conditioning controls to control the temperatures and circulation of air throughout the building.

• Distinguish problems and anomalies from normal operating parameters, and record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences.

• Operate the pumps and piping systems

• Operate chillers and cooling towers

• Operate the chilled and condenser water system pumps and piping systems (if required).

• Perform water quality checks for the Steam, HW, chilled water and condenser water systems and update appropriate equipment and system logs

• Operate other electrical, mechanical, and ventilation systems such as chilled water piping, air conditioning, air distribution, air filtration, and refrigeration equipment. (if required)

• Make daily visual safety inspections of the boilers, high-pressure vessels, chillers, cooling towers, piping, controls and all related equipment. Log pertinent data, including discrepancies, report deficiencies to the Chief Engineer immediately for follow-up.

• Make adjustments as required and perform preventive maintenance in accordance with prescribed schedules.

• Be cognizant of alarms and respond efficiently and effectively to maintain a safe working environment.

• Possess adequate sight, hearing and speaking capabilities to maintain a safe working condition and be able to distinguish wire colors and component color codes.

Experience and Education

• Two years of directly related work experience.

• Must possess a current Blue Seal Stationary Engineer/Boiler Plant Operators License in the State of New jersey

• Experience with operations of HVAC systems required.

• Must have the ability to operate building automation systems
