Stationary Engineer - *Providence In Person Hiring Event 7/25/2024*

Stationary Engineer will be available at:

• Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, Mission Hills, CA

Operate &/or maintain stationary engines, boilers, or other mechanical equipment to provide utilities for buildings or industrial processes. Operate equipment, such as steam fed heat exchangers, generators, motors, pumps, and steam boilers. Operates and maintains medical equipment (such as Vacuum Pumps and Medical Air Compressors), HVAC systems and other auxiliary equipment necessary to support operations of the hospital with uninterrupted services. Will respond to occasional maintenance calls in all buildings throughout the campus.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree

• Any mechanical field such as HVAC, Welding, Plumbing, Biomechanical, Mechatronics, etc. combined with 3 years Stationary Engineer experience working in a power plant or central utility plant.

• Current City of Los Angeles Steam Engineer

• Unlimited HP License upon hire. Or

• Current City of Los Angeles Steam Engineer

• 500 HP License upon hire.

• Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.

• California Fire and Life Safety Card

• National Organization within 30 days of hire.

• 5 years of Power Plant or Central Utility Plant experience; Hospital experience is a PLUS.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Biomechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other Mechanical related degree, combined with 3 years Stationary Engineer experience working in a power plant or central utility plant or 5 years of Power Plant or Central Utility Plant experience; Hospital experience is a PLUS.

Salary Range by location:

Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, Mission Hills, CA - Min: $30.81, Max: $48.06
