CEVA Logistics is currently hiring a Station Manager located in Austin, TX. The Station Manager is accountable for the fiscal and operational oversight, leadership and direction of a station to provide quality service, customer satisfaction and operational proficiency that ensures growth and profitability.

In this high-visibility position, the Station Manager will:

  • Lead, direct and manage all station functions to ensure that all departments and station staff execute service agreements at or above customer standards

  • Actively lead and drive continuous improvements in operational excellence and business processes to maximize profitability and deliver optimal results for quality, productivity, costs and labor relations

  • Provide daily guidance, leadership and overall support on any issues relating to operations, communication, human resources, revenue enhancement, standardizing procedures, systems applications, and executing processes to meet customer needs

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute policies, plans and programs to meet anticipated organizational needs in the areas of functional responsibility and ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelines, ISO standards and other regulatory requirements

  • Review analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated business development goals and objectives

  • Review and evaluate station P&L performance and establish short term goals to address any budgetary shortfalls

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop continuous improvement methodology in key areas of service profit and growth, and use key performance indicators (KPI's) to drive and quantify cost optimization while maintaining customer quality and service

  • Consult with and apprise senior management of important issues, operational concerns, personnel matters, capital expenditures, leases, and all commitments obligating the company.

  • Oversee and manage the professional development and productivity of team members to ensure proper goals training and professional development.

  • Drive safety performance through implementation of safety programs and ensure compliance to all CEVA and regulatory requirements

Education, Experience and Certifications

  • University degree or diploma in a transportation/logistics or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5+ years' related experience

  • Minimum 5 years practical experience in a supervisory position leading multi-disciplined teams

  • Excellent leadership skills including a strong ambition and desire to succeed

  • Strong professional ethics with proven planning, prioritizing and organizational skills

  • Strong computer skills and the ability to work with QMS, MS Excel, Word, and industry-related software applications

VIEW JOBS 10/17/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-01-15T00:00 More Information about this Job Job Title: Administrative Operations Supervisor Department: Operations Status: Exempt Reports To: Operations Manager or Regional Director SUMMARY: The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day operations including facilitation of internal communication between field staff, management and dispatch as well as outside agency interface, system status monitoring, facilitating short-term scheduling needs, equipment and supply maintenance, as well as other operational support functions as assigned by the Operations or General Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Direct, monitor, communicate with and evaluate all field employees in his/her assigned area. * Liaison with patients, public safety agencies, training institutions, hospital personnel, and other system users. * Ensure maintenance of quality field operations through daily contact, oversight, communication, and evaluation. * Ensure PCR's and other field paperwork is 100% reconciled daily in conjunction with the PCR processing. * Monitor and report compliance with contracts. * Provide staff and supervisor counseling and guidance and information regarding AMR operations. * Promptly investigates incidents and complaints involving assigned units or personnel, including, filing of internal and external reports, and counseling staff and supervisors. * Ensure maintenance of adequate levels of staffing, equipment and medical supplies for field units. * Implement and enforce company policies and standards. * Perform direct ALS patient care activities. * Maintain communication with other agencies and departments. * Serve on committees with other departments to set policies and generate ideas. * Perform other related duties as required. * Prepare reports and manages projects as assigned by Operations Manager or General Manager. * Maintain availability during disaster situations or mass casualty incidents and assist in any capacity needed. * Attend scheduled meetings as required by the Operation Manager or General Manager. * Responsible for complying with all local, state, and federal employment laws and company policies. (i.e., Americans with Disability Act, Affirmative Action Plan, etc.) * Responsible for supervising, directing and developing subordinates, including completing performance reviews, counseling sessions, etc. * Responsible for adhering to all company policies and procedures. * Direct AMR resources during mass casualty/disaster operations. NONESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform other duties as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or GED. * One year Paramedic field experience and past FTO/FTI experience Preferred. * Current CPR, PHTLS, PALS, NAEMT-P and ACLS certification preferred. * Must be able to drive an ambulance and have a driving record in compliance with AMR policy regarding insurability. * Some advanced education preferred. * Microsoft office experience. * Maintain effective communication skills with co-workers, patients, family, and the personnel of base station hospitals and interacting agencies. * Thorough knowledge of system status management. * Plan and organize supervisory responsibilities. * Supervise assigned staff effectively, including, the selection of personnel, evaluating performance and resolving problems as needed. Effective oral and written and Interpersonal communication skills.
