We want you on our team...Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, an 18 minute drive from Lexington, KY is searching for a State Registered Nurse Aide(SRNA) to join our 23 bed Transitional Care Unit where under the supervision of an RN or LPN you will perform basic patient care activities. This is a full-time, mid-shift, 40 hour/week position (2)11a-11p and (2) 3p-11p shifts.

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, LPN, including monitoring vital signs, possibly taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output

  • Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation

  • Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff

  • Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly

  • Requires critical thinking skills, detail oriented with decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Must be flexible with work location assignments

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required

Licensure/Certifications:

  • Valid current Kentucky State Registered Nurse Aide certification, required

  • Basic Life Support (BLS), required - American Heart Assoc
