This position will assist in the coordination of marketing/advertising initiatives that promote Minnesota's tourism product. Specifically, this position will assist in the day-to-day functions of implementing the state of Minnesota's tourism marketing programs statewide, regionally, nationally, and beyond to inspire consumers to strongly consider Minnesota in their leisure travel plans.
Assist Explore Minnesota's digital marketing through efficient coordination of administrative details, and by providing tracking and comparison of channel performance.
Coordinate general marketing/advertising campaign materials and produce reporting on results.
Marketing coordination for Co-op & Partnership Marketing.
Assist Communications, Market Development, and other teams on marketing needs to achieve agency-wide goals and objectives.
Minimum travel may be required
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Marketing Communications or closely related field; AND
1 to 2 years of related marketing experience or internships that include some exposure to consumer marketing systems
Strong planning and organization skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple projects with varying degree of detail
Proficiency in recapping results and compiling presentations
Working knowledge of digital marketing and baseline skills in Google Analytics
Experience working with creative and developing content
