Join the State Attorney's Office and be part of a dynamic team. This office is located in Shalimar, Florida and is known as home of the world's most beautiful beaches. This is a full time position - Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This position will be responsible for serving as the office receptionist/switchboard operator. As a Receptionist, you will be the ambassador of our organization's first impression on guests and visitors.

Duties include serving visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or division. Communicate and provide information to the public, law enforcement and other agencies.

Look up case information in electronic database in order to direct calls to the appropriate party. Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges. Notify office personnel of visitor arrival and overnight mail deliveries.

To successfully perform the duties of this position, candidates must have a professional demeanor, excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to multitask. Qualified candidates must be efficient on the computer keyboard and work well in a team environment.

Candidates must be organized and be able to handle confidential matters with the utmost discretion. Dependable and routine in-office attendance during regularly scheduled business hours is required. We are looking for those who have a desire to help and the ability to get along well with others.

Minimum Training and Experience Required: A high school diploma or equivalency.

Applicants must be able to pass a background check for employment. Employer is an E-Verify participant, requiring proof of identity, and proof of US citizenship OR legal right to work in the United States.
